MODIFIKASI DAN PERHITUNGAN LIFETIME PIPA TEMBAGA TERHADAP SISTEM PNEUMATIK PLY SERVICE PADA MESIN BUILDING ALT E-2

Abstract

This study aims to modify the ALT E-2 pneumatic system by replacing PVC
hoses with copper pipes and calculating the lifespan of the copper pipes. The
calculation considers several important factors, such as corrosion, working
pressure, pipe wall thickness, and the strength of the copper pipe material used.
The results show that copper pipes have a higher lifespan and durability
compared to PVC hoses, both in terms of strength and material resistance to
pressure. This modification is expected to optimize similar pneumatic systems
in the industry. This study is hoped to provide useful guidelines for improving
the lifespan and reliability of pneumatic systems through the use of more
durable and robust copper pipes
