MODIFIKASI DESAIN FIX POINTS PADA MESIN BUILDING ALT E-2

Abstract

The increase in downtime on the ALT E2 building machine is caused by several
problems that occur on the ALT E2 machine. This is because there are several
ALT E2 building machine spare parts that are obsolete, the fix point mounts are
not strong enough, and there is high damage to the ply service. This research
aims to reduce downtime on the ALT E2 building machine. From the fishbone
analysis carried out, the author made modifications to the ALT E2 machine by
upgrading the Mitsubishi A2US series PLC to the Q03UDE series PLC to
maintain the availability of spare parts for the obsolete ALT E2 building
machine, redesigning the Fix points to make them sturdier, more precise and
easier to use. Carrying out maintenance on the drum motor, as well as modifying
the brake ply service by replacing the PVC hose with a copper pipe on the ALT
E2 machine to reduce air leaks, so that the ply service can work optimally.
