Natural rubber is cut using a rubber cutter machine. Cutting process the rubber
is raised using the lifter then the rubber will slide inside cutting machine and
will be directly cut in the machine. It was found from this process a problem
when the rubber slides in, the rubber gets stuck in between machines and
loaders that require the operator to push using limb. This has an effect on the
operator's work process increases and there is a potential risk of slipping and
falling. In this research, the design of rubber pusher with control system was
carried out electro pneumatic. Analysis of the strength of welded joints and
bolted joints can be said to be "safe" because the load received by the frame,
which is 1,283 N, does not exceed the allowable load, which is 43,774.13 N.
The diameter of the shaft can be said to be "safe" because the diameter used is
20 mm above the minimum allowable diameter of 19 mm. When cutting rubber
with a rubber pusher tool with electro pneumatics can reduce rubber cutting
time by 36 percent. the existing potential danger will be reduced because there
is no need to precision the stuck rubber.
